Learn to swordfight with our beginner day at Bighorn Historical Combat! It’s fun, safe, and a great way to see if historical fencing is for you.

What to Expect

• Schedule: Beginner day runs alongside our regular classes with the same class schedule on Sunday from 11am - 2pm.

• What You’ll Learn: Alongside other beginners, you will learn the basics of the two handed Longsword and the single handed smallsword

• Historical Context: See real historical sources and learn how these techniques were applied in combat!

• Equipment: We provide all required PPE & swords required to get you fencing!

• Class Size: Beginner day is limited to 10 participants per month. Sign up now!

• Cost: Beginner day has a $10 reservation fee to secure your spot, which will be credited towards the Intro Package (see below).
  

Age Requirements

• Age Requirement: Open to anyone 14 or older. Participants under 18 must have a legal guardian present on the first day to sign a liability waiver & to supervise training.

• Guardian Attendance: Legal guardians are required to stay during the duration of the training. Maybe come give it a try, too

• Intro Package: Once we’re done, you’re all set to join classes! We offer an intro special of $120 which gets you a mask for you to keep, and covers all training sessions for your first month!
